THE MINIMUM SIZE OF LAND REQUIRED FOR A LAND TITLE IN UGANDA. Obtaining a land title is a crucial step in establishing ownership, but there are regulations that dictate the minimum size of land eligible for titling. The Ministry of Lands, Housing, and Urban Development has a policy that limits the issuance of land titles for plots smaller than 12.5 decimals (approximately 0.125 acres or 0.051 hectares) or smaller than 50x100 feet (approximately 0.046 hectares) in size. Key Objectives of the Policy.
1. Encouraging Land Consolidation: By limiting titles for smaller plots, the policy aims to encourage the consolidation of small plots into more economically viable landholdings. This promotes better land utilization and encourages larger, more productive estates. 2. Simplifying Land Administration: Managing small, fragmented plots can be administratively complex and costly. By setting a minimum size requirement, the government reduces the complexities involved in land management.3. Promoting Efficient Land Use: Larger consolidated

HAVING FAILED TO PAY HER HOME LOAN, SHE BEGAN THREATENED THE AGENTS MARKETING HER PROPERTY.
It All Started With a Random Phone Call.
A woman I'd never spoken to before called me out of the blue. Her tone was sharp, and her question was blunt: "Who authorized you to put my house on sale?"
Now, I manage thousands of online property listings across the country through the Real Estate Database (RED), marketing properties on behalf of countless brokers, realtors, developers, agents and agencies, and therefore, without any context, her question was incomplete. There was no mention of a property name, location, or property code, just a vague accusation.

But instead of answering my question, she repeated her previous question, this time in a more threatening tone. I calmly explained that I wouldn't know which property she meant unless she provided the property code, especially considering the volume of listings I handle. Eventually, after a tense back-and-forth, she gave me the property code.

THE POWER OF THE RED IS IN THE GOOGLE SEARCH RESULTS
Have you ever typed something like "houses for sale in Najjera" or "land for sale in Entebbe" into Google? Chances are, the first website you saw, right there at the top or at least on the first page, was the Real Estate Database (RED). That's not by luck. It's by design.
Google is the first place most buyers turn to when they start looking for property. They're not asking agents yet. They're not walking into offices. They're searching. So if your listings aren't showing up when someone Googles "houses for sale in [your location]," then you're missing out on a huge stream of serious leads.
Here's the good news: if you're subscribed to RED, you're already ahead.
Let's break it down.
When someone searches for "houses for sale in Kira," RED is either right at the top or somewhere on the first page. Not only that, many of the websites that also appear on that first page belong to agents or developers who are RED members. Their individual websites rank better because they benefit from
